Christmas, New Year's and the Like....
Well Christmas came and went. It was nice, gave out the presents I bought (the first time I really went shopping for parents and family alone). Got a new slim camera which I intend to put to good use, gift cards to Barnes and Noble (A.K.A. my personal heaven), as well as the overly priced starbucks. Got toe socks, and Bill Clinton's autobiography which is proving to be an interesting read.
All in all it has been a good year. Ian and I are celebrating our ten month anniversary today. It's probably the first time that I've made it straight through ten months of dating without breaks. Exciting. And alarming I suppose. I've got no real qualms with him, his faults don't put me off, he seems like such a good match for me...
Anyway. I'm going back to uni in 10 days. I'm hoping that this semester goes better than the previous one. (crosses fingers). It really should. I've got sociology ('Social Problems'), Psychology, Beginning Women's Chorale (yay for Humanities requirements), Chemistry (hopefully this TA is better than the last one), and maybe history. I have a passion for sociology it seems so that should be simple enough, psychology i have an interest in, music is in my veins, and chemistry can be dealt with accordingly. Only disturbing thing is that almost all my classes I have on tuesdays and thursdays. Tuesday's I'm going from 7:25 am until 6 something. Thursday's I go from 7:25 till 7. Should be interesting lol. I am determined to be organized and extremely focused this semester (moreso than ever before).
Sigh. Why does school always take up such a large part of my entry. I honestly don't mean it to...oh well. I can't wait till my mother comes home. My brother's sick and I need to make sure she knows the name and amount of medication he's taken, so that she doesn't mistakenly give him conflicting medication. Yawn. She should be here soon I hope.
Saw Zach for a brief second. I had hoped that he'd have come around sooner, but what can you do. Friendships are bound to fade I suppose. I certainly don't talk to everyone I went to high school with. Then again I'd stopped talking to most of them long before I graduated lol. I really must get in touch with Sara and Drew so that we can hang out before I go back. (Hopefully sara will just read this and then drop me a line *wink*) Anyway. Mom's just arrived so I'm going to report and then write, or read, or maybe even sleep (what will I think of next lol).
