Competition....
Well I ended up missing my cousin's birthday AGAIN. And we didn't even win. We got fourth in prelims, and we definitely stayed there. I was talking with my parents on the way home and they brought up a valid point. What is the purpose of making us stay late when the judges already knew who deserved to win? We got third runner up which equals fourth. So really there was no purpose for putting us through it again.
Now on the positive side:
That was our BEST performance. It felt amazing. And for the first time in a long time I was excited to do the show. I was really pleased with how everything went. Skirts stayed on, no wadrobe malfunctions, streamers made it to their owners. All in all, I believe that it was the best we've ever done. I can't describe how great it was to be up there on that stage. It was a good way to end for the seniors. Everyone seemed very happy.
