Um. There seem to be quite a few people here with an interest in reading but don't have much practice with it. Since I already offered to a few people already, I was wondering if anyone else would be interested in getting together as sort of a...study group and bookclub type thing. It'd be a lot easier and probably more fun than helping people one

Russia's house. But it's the polite thing to do.]

[opens the door to greet her friend!! huff huff] Hello.

Hi!

[She's cheery, but she looks left and right in search for the Fat Man. Their last few conversations were a bit unsettling. She's carrying a light green photo album with her and holds it up.]

I completely forgot I had it!

[starshots]

[enjoy the vodka-scented house.]

Did you get that in the mail, then?

[angelic_meister]

[She tries her best, but she can't help but visibly wince at the scent.]

Uh, yeah. About a week after I first arrived in Mayfield, actually. I hid it under my bed and forgot about it until the other day when I was digging around.

[starshots]

[you get used to it.] ...Oh. You should take good care of your photos. They're like memories, after all.

Oh, no, they were...safe. I just didn't really want to look at them, especially considering I turned into a five-year-old for a week after I got it. Besides, a lot of the pictures are missing.

Well, let's look. I'll make some hot chocolate. [closes the door behind them both]

[She goes in and finds a seat. While Suou's off doing that, Maka will open the album and look at the pictures. She's suddenly got a face that's...mildly upset. Sort of both sad and annoyed.]

[Suou busies herself in the kitchen. When she returns, she has a tray with hot chocolate and cookies.] I have to hide these or Russia eats them all.

[Blink.]

Thanks. It must be...hard living with him.

No... It's not really. I figured out that he's like a big kid.

...Huh. I guess I can see that. I'm sure there are worse people to be stuck with.

[She eats some of the snacks.]

The ones I like are gone, but want to look at the pictures in my album now?

[starshots]

Okay. [She sits next to Maka, holding out a cup for her.] Why are the ones you like gone?

Knowing Mayfield, they left them out to piss me off. All the ones with Mama are gone, so the only ones left are ones with me or Papa.

[She takes the cup, drinks, and then sets it down. She opens the album: most of the pictures are like this and this, so mostly young Maka and that young red-headed man.]
