[Maka has spent most of the afternoon going back and forth between trying two different things: one, trying to channel her Soul Wavelength into an attack and, two, trying to summon the Black Blood Dress without Soul or going insane.
Both have failed spectacularly. To most second parties, it looks like she's simply...spent the afternoon punching and kicking trees and making frustrated grunting noises of concentration.]
I never really cared about doing things on my own, but I need to find a way to take care of myself without Soul...
[She's got her Soul Perception on overdrive, so any certain chainsaw psychos and company will find it difficult to run into her. Anyone with Soul Perception or a similar ability to see Souls or strong spiritual energy will see angel wings coming from Maka's back while she's concentrating hard.]
