This Christmas certainly feels more quiet than last years, but of course, appearances are often deceptive, whether consciously so or otherwise. At any rate, the scientists are certainly feeling far less giving when compared to last year; I wonder whether it's related to choice or a result of inevitability ( Read more... )

From what I hear, there have been shufflings in their ranks as well, though I do not know the details.

It most certainly seems like a game from this perspective. Memories, times, life and death... You do not think it is too much of a generalization, however, to say that the board is always composed of the same players?

Not always, but they certainly seem fond of bringing back and forth the same individuals.

I wouldn't argue against the chance, but I can't say that I've noticed anything. However, there's always the possibility that it's based on something known only to the scientists.
