[There had only been a little bit of a frantic rush when Anemone had found Chopper and told him that she needed a doctor. He'd fretted and panicked, thinking she was the one needing the doctor, then his mind had wandered off to fret and panic over another close friend needing a doctor, until she'd managed to calm him down and tell him he needed to go with her to an apartment, and now. This had done the trick, and he'd snatched up his backpack and headed out with her toward Latimir 301.

He was now inside the apartment, looking up at Naruse with a stern, serious look. There was no time to worry about the awkwardness of meeting a new person and explaining the whole talking reindeer thing. Someone needed help, and he was there to help them.]

My name is Chopper, and I'll be helping Shiori. Could I see her please? And while I treat her, could I please know about anything that happened before she fainted?

(He paused for a moment when Chopper came to the apartment, his expression flickering for a moment. However, Discedo had more or less taught him that yes, things that he would consider far from the norm occur and now wasn't the time to focus on that.

Leading Chopper to Shiori's room -- he'd placed her on her bed -- he absent mindedly brushed at his shirt, as if to attempt to remove any creases. He remained quiet for a few moments, frowning a little.)

As far as I'm aware, she was simply preparing food. However, she'd seemed a little ill for a couple of days.

(He fell quiet again; perhaps he should have said more, insisted that she rest more -- although he somehow doubted whether she would have truly done so. In the comparatively short time that Naruse had really known Shiori, it was evident that she always put others ahead of herself.)

[It was always worrisome when someone was so sick they fainted, especially when it came to a close friend like Shiori. But this week, she was a nurse, so she came to help.

She wasn't really sure what to ask, unfortunately, so she just went with Chopper, carrying things and ready to get whatever Chopper told her to. Since he knew what he was doing.]

[Chopper followed along until they arrived at the room, and he walked up to the end of the bed, trying to get a good look at Shiori. Just as Naruse had said, she did look as if she hadn't been feeling well for quite a while now, looking far too tired and frail, so the fainting spell was making sense. He had been about to get a closer look until he realized... he was a bit too small to get any closer, and for a second he looked rather upset, but it was gone soon enough and he looked toward Anemone.]

Can you bring me a chair please? Or just something big enough for me to stand on so I can exam her a little better?

[He turned his head toward Naruse once more.] When did you notice that she wasn't feeling well? How has she been eating, and has she been under any stress? Working or moving around, anything that would keep her busy for a long amount of time?

(He watched with a vague kind of interest -- he'd spent enough time in hospitals over the years to be aware of how doctors worked and the type of questions that would inevitably be asked. He had been paying little attention to Anemone thus far, although he glanced towards her when Chopper asked her to find a chair.)

There's one in the main room you can use.

(He turned back towards Chopper, thinking over the last couple of days.) She works at the Northern Lights. As far as I'm aware she's been eating, but it's been a little less than normal. I noticed a couple of days ago.

(He paused.)

She has a habit of placing her needs second.

[Anemone nodded to Naruse, hurrying off to the main room to grab the chair. She brings it back and pushes it close for Chopper to use, then waits for more instructions.

Oh, Shiori... why so selfless? Anemone sighed softly.] She's so sweet... I hope she'll be okay.

[When Naruse had mentioned the last thing, Chopper glanced worriedly back at Shiori. That must have been the main reason here. As Anemone brought in the chair he climbed up on it and began to get a better look, and it was all making more sense.]

Then that was probably the cause. Just some built-up stress and neglect to the body. She needs some rest of course and she should be checked every once in a while to see how she's doing, and you need to make sure she eats and drinks plenty of fluids. A few days should do it, but she shouldn't go back to work immediately right after.

[Chopper sat properly on the chair and glanced at Naruse once more.] It's okay to take care of other people, but it's not any help if you just end up hurting yourself at the same time. We need to be able to take care of ourselves as well as others.

(Naruse murmured a rather vague, non-committal noise in response to Chopper's comments, gaze remaining on Shiori for several moments. She shouldn't be in Discedo; it would be better if she were back in Tokyo. Turning back to Chopper, he smiled politely, his expression otherwise somewhat blank.)

I had thought that was the case. (A momentary pause.) I'll make sure she eats and drinks enough.

(He nodded slightly as Chopper continued.) Of course. I'm quite aware of that. However-- (He glanced back towards Shiori, not finishing the sentence.)

[Anemone frowned, watching Chopper. There wasn't much she could do except mentally take notes. She sighed, but soon turned to Naruse as he cut himself off.]
