How apt; the scientists already resurrect those that die here. It's interesting, though, the parallels that can be drawn, although they're certainly no God, regardless of how they might try.
...To be judged with 'perfect justice'. I'm sure that's an event that only those who sin and expect to escape without due punishment fear. Judgement, regardless of whether it is perfect or imperfect, is entirely inevitable.
I wonder how many would view even perfect justice as unfair.
That aside, it seems Lyra was correct. Hopefully, there are enough candles, matches, and perhaps even torches to make this somewhat more bearable.

Beyond Latimir, it's a relief to know that not too many people were injured. It's not the first time Discedo has experienced such, although admittedly on a smaller scale, if I'm correct. Perhaps it would be worth seeing if there are any records regarding seismic activity in Discedo in the library - once, of course, this passes.
