I'm not entirely certain as to the current situation regarding laws in the city, but it was something I thought should be mentioned; by profession, I'm a defence lawyer. Once a more stable situation regarding laws is reached, if anyone should find themselves in need of a defence lawyer, please let me know and we will discuss the matter.

It never lasts long, does it? I wonder how deliberate it is. People coming and going, the impermanence of most who stay here. It's interesting; life doesn't end here through natural means for as long as the scientists can bring us back from the dead. The commotion is therefore caused by the appearance and disappearance of those loved and hated. Still, I'm ... glad, I suppose that no-one I know has yet to experience this city.

I wonder if this city was once a paradise? I suppose it must have been in some respect for the scientists to persist in bringing people here, to want to rebuild their home. But then, if that's the case, I wonder if for many people, 'home' is a synonym for 'paradise'?
