House Stuff
So. Today is the 13th. We get the keys on the 16th. We told our landlords we'll be out by the 1st. We have several boxes. We have NOTHING packed. I told Steven I was going to start packing this last weekend. He asked what I was going to work on. I said the books, DVD's, CD's, nicknack type stuff. He told me not to do it. I think he's in denial of how SOON this move is coming up. He said he had a system all worked out for packing and that he would explain it to me later. I still haven't gotten it explained. But I am going to start packing anyway. As long as it all gets over to the new place, I don't see what it matters. DVD's in one box. Books in their own boxes. CD's in their boxes. Clothes either folded in boxes or bagged, depending on how wrinkled they will get. Kitchen boxed up. Bathrooms boxed up. Yarn boxed up. Big stuff taken over on the 23rd so that we can clean and wax our apartment on the 25th. Seems easy enough. Till I start looking around at all the JUNK we've accumulated over 2 years. I think many loads will be taken to Goodwill. But I'm excited. We bought a range and refrigerator this weekend. It gets delivered whenever the range is back in stock, by the 26th they've said. It's getting hectic around here...
