Life...

Yes the title is boring. I am uninspired to think of a catchy one. Oh well!

The kids seem to be settling in to the same room alright. I have seen them playing in there a lot more too which is nice. They don't usually play in their room but coming into the family room (with all there easy to trip over and break you break toys). They seem to like it. Jonathan was so looking forward to moving into Dani's room that he asked me every day from the moment I broached the subject with him. At that point I was only feeling him out to see if he would mind giving up his previous room. Apparently he didn't. There are still things to arrange and all but for now we are ok. Baby #3 isn't coming for another 5 or so months so there is time.

In 3 weeks time Geoff and I are supposed to be going away for a weekend to a business retreat. We have both been looking forward to it. I have been looking forward to a kid free weekend at a nice hotel. The speakers at the retreat are always good too but the former is very appealing. Geoff's Mum was supposed to be looking after the kids but has decided that 2 kids is a bit much for her. I wish I knew earlier so I had more time to beg and plead with others. I am just waiting and praying and hoping that my brother won't mind having them at his place. He has 5 kids as it is so would hardly notice a further 2! hehe.

I need this break! It has been my point of sanity for the last few months. I have been looking forward to it and craving it. My last holiday was in January but that was with the kids. My last time with out a child was 3 years ago. Yes I want a romantic weekend with my husband. I even booked the room with the spabath!

Other than that life is pretty normal. I still don't have any clients but I need to do some more intense marketing. I know that once I have a few it should be easy sailing to get more. It is just hooking those first ones in!

Geoff's hours seem to be slowly increasing which is nice. Money is still always an issue but then I would like to know when it isn't. At least we are one of the few families in the world which isn't drowning in debt. We don't pay interest on our credit cards and we don't have any HP's or anything like that so the money we make goes toward living and saving and not towards things we 'purchased' a year or so ago.

My biggest problem right now is tiredness. I am always tired. I have naps during the day and try to get as much sleep as possible at night but still. Spring is just around the corner. That will be nice because fresh fruits and veg will be cheaper and my diet can be boosted with the essentials. That might help a bit. It also means it is easier to go out walking etc.

I just remembered I haven't had my initial pregnancy bloods done yet. I am well and truly into my 2nd trimester now so I might get them done tomorrow. I have a midwife appointment next week so she would probably appreciate it. I think as you have more and more kids you tend to become more and more lax about some things. I know what the bloods will say so I am not too concerned. Oh well.

Right time for me to go to bed I think.

Have a good one!
