He blips in, smiles broadly when he sees her and holds out his arms. "Daughter."

"Castiel." She grins and steps into his arms, hugging him tightly. "It's good to see you."

He wraps his arms around her and holds her close. "And you, daughter. Are you well?"

[angelhaunted]

"I am. How are you?" It is nice, to hug Castiel like this. He hugs differently than her father, but it is still a comforting embrace. She closes her eyes for a moment, enjoying it.

"I am well. It has been an interesting few days. Is Ireul treating you well?" Strokes a hand through her hair.

"Well enough. Things have been quiet lately, which I count as good." She smiles up at him. "Can you stay for a while? Maybe dad, too?"

"Of course. I asked my brother Gabriel to make sure that we would not be disturbed. And yes, Jimmy would very much like to see you as well."

She beams in delight and hugs him again. "That's great! I made you both dinner. Dad told me that you were learning about food at one point, so I figured you wouldn't mind eating."

He smiles at her. "I was. It is interesting. Food has changed so much over the centuries. Like chocolate. It is so much better now than it was."

"I can imagine! Well, I hope my cooking won't taste too bad. I didn't know what you liked, so I just made things I remember dad liking. Is that okay?"

"It is more than okay, beloved daughter." Hugs her again. "It is very good to see you."

She hugs back, beaming again. "It is good to see you too, Castiel. I'm very glad to hear that you're doing well."

"I have found that even in these dark times there is light. And that gives me hope, beloved daughter."

[angelhaunted]

"It gives me hope, too." She puts her hand in his and tugs him towards the kitchen. "Come on, let's eat before it gets cold."

He follows with her, smiling. "All right. It smells delicious!"

She laughs, handing him a plate. "Let's hope it tastes as good as it smells, then!"
