A little black dress....
Krystle and I went on a shopping excursion today, because of course, it was payday. I spent like all but $10, but whatever. I am quite pleased with the purchases. I LOVE this red dress. I saw it in the window of Cache two or three weeks ago when I was at Twelve Oaks with my mom and I nearly freaked when I didn't see it in the window tonight. BUT we went in, and BAMN, there were two left, and one was my size. I dropped right into it, its perfect. I love the material, it hugs me in all the right places. PLUS its red. I look great in red if I must say so myself. Screw the little black dress, THIS is my little black dress, even though it happens to be red. Also, I found these amazing silver stilletos that go wonderfully with it. The actual heel is made of little pieces of mirror. That you have to love. I CANNOT wait to wear this dress.
Ok, sorry, my very girlish rant right now is over.
In other news, round two of layoffs are this week, so work has kinda been hell. However, it was pretty damn amusing on Tuesday when I was closing. Bill screwed up the schedule, like royally. He had three boys opening and three girls closing. The problem? there was no boy to cover loading for the evening. Guess who was loading? yep ME! I made $4 in tips, for the 5 hours that I was running back and forth, because of course, I still had to help out on the nursery lot because the other two girls closing with me are nice people and I love them, but they don't work fast enough, especially when we had so much to get done. It was VERY amusing to see people's looks and reactions when they realized that it was me who was hauling the 2 cu. ft bags of soil and mulch. haha. I love proving people wrong.
Off to bed, long day of work tmrw and in 4 days I leave for DC!!
