Hey babe!! The fifth joyful mystery, as I understand it, is about Jesus and his obediance to his parents after they found him, but also about how Mary had to let him do his Father's work-you know overcoming the feminine tendencey to try to control everything...
Oh and it would be funny to see your battery explode, but I doubt that it will...
And we deserved the Tshirts because we were only freshmen. lol... I wore mine a few weeks ago when I went to Raccoon Creek State Park in PA with people and a random lady told me that she liked it... lol...

The fifth mystery is really Christ's first manifestation that He is divine, when He knows the Law and can interpret it better than the priests. He reveals that He is the Son of the Father, etc. Also, and the main reason why I think it's in the Joyful Mysteries, is that it represents Easter. Christ the child is lost for three days, He is found on the third day "in His Father's house". And they all rejoiced. **shrugs**

Also:
1) Your mom never sung for /us/!
2) I have never heard of a Dell battery asploding so... you're probably safe.
3) Give yourself some credit for shoe-packing. It probably takes up as much room as all of my clothes.

i will keep my shoes packed [except for the pair i'm wearing there] until monday, so you can compare. luke swantek predicted me "most likely to need a second closet just for shoes" in facebook's back to school center. i don't like their choices, so i didn't predict anything. but he's kind of right, which cracks me up.

and when my family comes out to visit me on some random weekend since they're booked parents weekend, i'll make sure mom &i give you a private concert, luke. it'll probably be only one song, but it'll be a good one.

Claire, you're ridiculous; just today (ok, and yesterday) I too thought of a) what's up with the finding in the temple (honestly. Then again, I also said some pretty scandalous things abouts St. Louis de Montfort when I was doing the Consecration--with your book--in Austria) and b) if maybe that's the reason my laptop battery gets so hot. My mom was talking to me about the battery today in fact..I guess she heard the same report as you did. Either way, I think it's time to replace it, just because it has such a short life (like an hour, maybe a little over).

haha yeah, i remember your laptop battery from that late-night honors paper cramming session in the hallway outside the library in austria -- your battery's about as bad as sana's! good times... i'm totally sure those papers weren't worth us staying up all night, by the way...

um, you felt my laptop's battery? ha, i can't believe i forgot about that night. i have some pretty funny stuff i wrote that week...."i feel like death, is this really how i envisioned my study-abroad semester", etc. that was one ridiculously long night. i'm grinning just thinking about it. i think i got an a- in the class, though...and i know that my final essay was not worth that, so i guess the papers made up for it.
