i explained it earlier this summer thus: "What engagement is to marriage is what we are to dating" (I really got into analogies in high school, okay? so sue me). so i s'pose it makes sense that with the metaphorical "wedding" being less than a week away, i'm rather terrified of that for which i've been excitedly waiting, practically counting down the days, for nearly six months?
