We've gotten all the rations & supplies necessary. Got the generator hooked up (far too much money for one of those beasts). Have a cute little hibachi and some charcoals. Matches, candles, granola, water and water and water and toilet paper and water and more water. flashlights, pillows, blankies, all the necessities. xanax is the only thing that was on my list that's gone. i really want some of that shit. "what? a hurricane? ohhhh pretty"
work got closed down today. my DM called me at 9:30 when i was getting ready to open my store and told me to go home. said to board up, close up, and get out of there. they evacuated my mom's work yesterday (she's beachfront at work), and our vacation condo is boarded up, too. we're gonna ride out the night and see how we feel. we may not evacuate, but instead may just go to my moms later.
anyway, for all my floridian friends out there, be safe :)
