you saw something that was labelled with JBR in the file? a white square icon with coloured dots on it, is what you are looking for
what you have to do is extract that, put it on your desk top, rightclick it go to rename and you will see that the file is called whatever-its- called with JBR as the file extension on the end, you change the J of the jbr to an A and it becomes an abr file which will change it to a photoshop brush
Do you happen to know the name of the brush maker, so I could go download that brush?
I want to try this tutorial at home this evening!

I downloaded them, but the downloads don't contain any .ABR files.
In the past when I've downloaded brushes, they have been .ABR files and I've put them in the >Photoshop 7.0\Presets\Brushes folder.
These are .png files, and I don't know where to put them.

But in the meantime, I went ahead and followed your tutorial and made my own brush set out of the .pngs So I learned something there!
