TMI Movie Trilogy and a 4th Book = Best. Day. Ever. !!!
Oh my gosh!!! I can barely type I'm so jazzed! I've been dreaming about this since I first started reading the TMI (The Mortal Instruments) series back when "City of Bones" first came out in 2007!!
There is going to be a MOVIE!!! THREE MOVIES in fact!! More info on tmi_movie and tmi_lovers . The film rights have been optioned by New Line and the producers are going to be the Bob Shaye and Micheal Lynne (the same guys who helmed the Lord of the Rings!!) so I see these movies destined for greatness already!!! ^___^

Also, Cassie Clare has just announced that there is going to be a FOURTH TMI BOOK out in March 2011 focusing on SIMON called
"City of Fallen Angels" thus upping the TMI books' status from "trilogy" to "saga"! Oooohhh....ahhhh!!! Lol.I love Simon and always hoped that he would get a bigger role. I'm so stoked that I have another TMI book to look forward to now. ^___^ I guess it'll come out inbetween the Infernal Devices trilogy releases then?? Maybe the fans will get lucky and we'll get "Fallen Angels" out in the same year that "Clockwork Prince" (book 2 of TID) comes out? That would be five kinds of awesome!! ^___^
And if that weren't enough news....I've just stumbled on the report that the TMI books (first 3) are going to be made into Graphic Novels! Awesome! I hope they get a good artist for them!
