My friend sent me a link today to a forthcoming Twilight Graphic Novel! This isn't the version already available in Japan (that is, I believe that their books simply have a few manga-form illustrations in them). It's new. It's being drawn by a Korean artist. And it looks really cool. I'm seriously tempted people...and it doesn't even have a release-date yet! ^_~ Apparently Stephenie is very involved with the manga version and checks over every panel. I can't wait to read it! I hope they release a shot of Jacob and the rest of the Cullens soon too!!
I'd post the picture from the site (Bella & Edward from the biology class scene) but livejournal apparently doesn't support .bmp images. So just check out the website to see it. I have to say that I really like that, as the journalist stated in the article, the artist didn't simply just portray Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson in manga-form, they stuck more to the image that Stephenie Meyer described in her books. Very nice.
Also, I went to see Harry Potter #6: The Half-Blood Prince tonight. It definitely wasn't as good as it could have been. They diviated from the book A LOT. But the basic plot was there, all the important stuff. I did enjoy it for what it was. I know that a movie is always different from the book that it's based off of, but I can dream about a perfect transaction from page to screen can't I? Heh. ^_~ (I wanted more screen-time with Lupin & Tonks!!) But on the other hand the teenage angst and romance was fabulous! I laughed so hard. Looking forward to Movie 7 part one & two!! Can't come soon enough!!
