5 papers (one of which was 50 pages)
and
2 exams (one of which was a stats exam at 8am that took the whole 2 and a half hours)

9 days of work (several of which did not end until 1am)

Oh, and I spent forever in SPSS stuff the other night, then it said my files that I had saved for my paper were corrupted, so I spent an hour trying to restore the files. It never worked, so I had to spend more hours rewriting the fuckin paper. That was fun.

Went to bed at 430ish woke up at 730ish. Took long ass stat exam. Because of the disk fucking up, I didn't get to study for my stupid Art exam. I figured I would do it when I finished stat. hahahah, right. Art was at 11. I was the first to leave stat... at 10:35. I failed the Art test. damn damn damn. That was the only class I was banking on having an A in.

Oh, and I would definitely rather have essays to write than in-class essay exams. Grrr. We didn't even have exams in that Topics class last semester; a class where there was actually info to have an essay exam about. Why for the love of Pete would you have exams of any kind in a class that is supposed to teach you about how to DO research, not how to write about how you might do research sometime in the future when life doesn't suck... gees

i wish i could rant. i wish i wasn't too tired to rant. i am at that that fine point where i am about to say fuck a duck and just piss away the rest of the week. this test tomorrow is my last one. what's funny is i feel like a fraud for participating in the ceremony friday.

sorry about the art test. sucks to bomb something you KNOW you could have easily passed.

you are right about this research class. i do not foresee myself applying the information from the class in any situation. i'm not going to graduate school and i highly doubt that i will be doing any type of research for any employer in the future. i don't know what happened over the summer and fall to make everyone in the dept go bat shit crazy with their classes. i've never experienced a semester like this.

i want a do over.

and fuck some SPSS. how hunt gets off on stats is beyond me.
