Life is so amazing. I mean, not specifically mine, though I am enjoying my own life. What I mean is the kind of life you see when you look around at this beautiful world God has created. Life as you see it when a baby laughs. Life as you see it when you look at a flower or a tree or the sky...a sunset, the rain, or a clear, cloudless blue sky. The life you see in a 5 year old running around or the life you see in an 18 year old getting a tattoo. The life you see in the love of a man and woman. The life you see in the love of a father and his daughter, or a mother and her son. The life you see in the love of best friends. The life you see in a sleepy puppy or a bird as it flies through the sky. The life hidden in music and in art. The life you find in books and stories. The life of memories. The life of a smile. Every breath we breath. Life just amazes me. It's so easy sometimes to become cynical about this world we live in. War, disease, abuse, poverty, heartbreak. It all seems so bleak sometimes. It all seems so horrible and painfully hopeless. It just brings you to tears. And you find yourself asking, what is the point in this life? But stop! And just take a look around you. This journal entry may seem sappy. Heck, I brought up sunsets and flowers and puppies! But, it's all real. Every bit of it. I love life. The life I see in the world around me...in the people around me. Its...as I've said...amazing to me. hm.
