have you ever smelled something that reminded you do much of a previous memory that you have to stop yourself in your tracks.
this happened tonight....granted there was a little help due to natural substances....but
on my walk home it was sooo beautifully cold in that super warm way when you can tell that warm weather will soon be here, and all of a sudden i was in my car driving around cape ann in the summer or with my sister on our way to the Coldplay concert with that cool breeze that comes in late august when fall is just knocking on the door. and listening to music with the windows and sunroof down and the sun setting as we headed westwardly towards the concert. and i could swear i was in summer and when i opened my eyes i saw the christmas lights of south campus and the piles of snow and i was in winter all of a sudden then i turned and felt a warm breeze with hints of burning and it was fall i dashed across the street stepping over a pile of leaves and i saw the wet street and smelled that misty wet smell that lets you know that sping is just around the corner....
altho its amazing what i sensories can do.
