dude. i <3 country music so much it is FREAKIN insane. ha nobody around here likes country, except the occasional person like ashley or joann. oh well--i love it so much. it makes me happy :D
i definitely have to make a new country mix and i'm so excited to do that--i need to hear a bigger variety!!! on this mix i have all kinds of different songs and artists, including phil vassar, steve holy, trace adkins, brad paisley, toby keith, leann womack, julie roberts, martina mcbride, clint black, brooks & dunn, rascal flatts...just to name a few haha. oh and i was listenin to some dwight yoakam cd's today, and i didn't really realize just how many songs i knew until i started listening--i've heard so many of them before, from my dad playin them i guess. i like them. OH goodness one of my favorite songs is on tv right now! (god blessed texas) my dad's played that a lot when we were younger...haha i remember "achy breaky heart" used to be one of my favorite songs *blushes*...i still take a liking to it when i hear it from time to time. *sigh* i love it :D
i don't understand how so many people around here can actually NOT like country. i think it is the best genre of music...like, people like all this horrible stuff that can't even be considered "music", like all this new rap--"right thurr"??? "slow motion for me"??? and all these other ones where u cant understand what they're sayin because they talk retardedly, and they all rap about the same thing: blunts, booze, and bitches. oh yea, and about "comin from the hood" and bein "real gangstas". who gives a shyt? what is music being reduced to? even songs from just a few years ago were good! when dave matthews band was more popular, and there was 3 doors down and bon jovi was still goin strong, and other stuff like that. i guess it's pop, but at least it's better MUSIC! it's not today's crap--popular music is goin downhill real fast. hopefully people will start wanting some music in their lives instead of illiterate creeps with gross teeth makin noise about their "rough" lives (even tho they now make millions for having no talent). blahhhhhh
