There's a meteorite shower tonight, so Diz suggested we go see it. And since Diz is smart and we (sometimes) listen to her, we're organizing a group of wonderful fun loving people to come watch the shower with us. Location is not final yet as are the rest of the details. Food and drink are promised in any case

Perseids

I saw a few, including a couple of really bright, low ones. But for the most part I was in areas with too much light pollution. When we got home at midnight last night (finally free of light pollution), the clouds had moved in. Bummer.

The Leonids are usually in early December. With both, best viewing is just before dawn.
