Weekend Update

So I had a pretty wonderful weekend.

On Thursday the boy and myself went to Boojie's production of "Mid-summer Night's Dream" and OMFG it was AMAZING. I have no other word  but amazing. My hands hurt from so much clapping and I haven't laughed like that in such a long time. It was fabulous and I am very happy I came. It was so worth it. Especially coming onto the stage at the end and having Yoni point at me and yell "It's all your fault! You did this to me!" I, in turn, approached the Boojie and worshiped her like she deserves.

I was positively overjoyed. Wonderful performance, great actors, amazing costumes and what a plot!

After the show we stopped by
whitestar2's birthday party which had alcohol and way too little food. Another issue is the fact the party was on the roof - which is normally a great idea unless we're experiencing a heat-wave making temperatures at night over 30C and moisture... don't get me started on Tel-Aviv moisture. Yuck!

So Barak and I quickly bailed, sweaty and sticky we went home.

On Friday we went to play D&D with Barak's friends (geekery! Oh the geekery!) and I created a fighter character named Buffy. She's basically a lot like our beloved vampire slayer, but she's gay. Not just that, but she's the only gay in her village (Little Britain reference there), which is why she chose to leave the village and go look for other gays (preferably women) in other places.

After the game we had a wonderful dinner at Onami (expensive but worth it) and finished it with a wonderful ice-cream from the place down ha-Arbaa street (he got ice-cream and I got peach sorbet). Lovely day.

Yesterday was too short - some of Barak's class-mates came to study and I tried to do my homework, which I failed. I hate tuples.
