So. Was at my father's all weekend, no computer access, below zero temperatures [and no snowww, ah], consisted of barely moving from the couch at all. Fairly boring, but that's alright. Slept a lot. Watched more tv than I think I have in my entire life, but I did watch some good old movies, which I enjoyed very much. Some Like it Hot with Marilyn Monroe was very wonderful, it made me wonder why girls aren't glamourous anymore, and why boys aren't charming. Everybody's a slut, a jerk, a pushover, or just all three. Boring. I want things to be like they were in the movies. Pretty girls and boys who give you flowers and have yachts and wear suits and fedoras and everybody talks in jazz age slang.
So. No Christmas trees this year, for either my mother's or my father's house. That, + no snow + not going to Chicago for Christmas + a handful of other minor disappointments = it really doesn't feel like Christmas at all. I half expect to go back to school in a day or two. Nobody cares anymore, and that's sad. I hope this doesn't turn out to be the worst Christmas ever. I wish it would snow.
