thank you for scaring the shit out of some people..and pissing a bunch of people off..and making everyone want to change their flight reservations. and thank you continental for not wanting to deal with a bunch of pissed off assholes griping at you when it's not even your fault..so you decided to waive the $200 fee for any change in flight reservations up until sept 1st.
yeah, gene was totally gonna hook me up and use some of his contacts to get me a super duper discounted price for changing my flights..but thank me for waiting all damn week to decide what dates i want to go...so i lucked out and continental made this offer before i'd already paid to change my flight.

it fucking sucks that i won't have anything but a wallet on the flight home, but..right now? i don't give a fuck...because it's definitely worth the trade off. i have to suffer an 11hr flight with no carry on because of yesterday's events..but, for the same reason, i get to push my trip back for free. 8-)

- more time to try and take care of all my shit before leaving for 2 weeks.
- more time to pack (i was supposed to leave tomorrow..and haven't had but a few hours to pack before now)
- more time to figure out what the hell to do with gizmo
- no restrictions on dates (the initial plans..i couldn't possibly leave before the 12th..and couldnt possibly stay past the 26th)..so i get to stay longer
- which means i have time to go to wales and visit my mom (been in wales for like 3 months now)..and all my relatives i haven't seen since i was 7
- arriving after audrey's trip..so she doesn't have to deal with having a house guest while trying to prepare for her trip
- will earn more money before the trip
- security could possibly die down a bit before i fly home
- get to see blue october...TWICE. in little bitty tiny venues like the good ol' days :D
