We're playing in the basement today. It's very cloudy outside. Mom said it REALLY looks like rain, so she asked if I wanted to look at the radar on the computer to see how far away the rain was. Cool! So I sat on her lap and she showed me how to type our zip code into the weather website and look at the radar. She says green means rain, and yellow means lots of rain, and red means lots and LOTS of rain. We found our city, and watched the green blobs move closer. Mom said that the rain should hit us in around 20 minutes...not knowing the radar we were looking at was about 20 minutes old. So no sooner had we stopped looking at the computer, when the rain came POURING down.
Mom said, "I should have figured the timing in. If I had done that, I'd have been SPOT ON about when the rain was going to start. Mom's a BIG UGLY DOOFUS!!"
I said, "Umm...Mom? You're not ugly".
Mom told me I do wonders for her ego...whatever that means.
