dear HBO On Demand:
I'm sorry, but we've gotta break up. I want my life back.
This afternoon I accidentally locked myself out of Kerry's house, and instead of hanging out with you like I've been doing in my free time, I was forced to get on my bike and ride around in the amazing fall weather. I went to the thrift store and got a good book, and then I went to Pacha and sat on their back porch drinking coffee, and I read and then I wrote a letter to my friend who lives in the mountains about how proud I am of her for getting sober and how much I love her.
This is what I used to do with my afternoons off, before we met. I miss it, and, now that I've had time to think about it, I love the afternoon that I had, and the promise of others like it, more than I love four dozen episodes of "Six Feet Under," "Sex and the City," and "The Sopranos." Lots more.
It's been fun, but I can't continue things on this level with you.
See you around,
Miss Marla Renee Fisher
