Yay for organic fruits and veggies! The organic section at the grocery store why I usually shops has been so bad lately I very often end up getting very little or no fresh fruit and veggies at all. Being vegan that is obviously a major problem. Going to the health food shop in town to shop for everything just isn't a working option. I do love that shop but it's just in the wrong place for me. So I decided to start getting my fruits and veggies from a company called Ekolådan that deliver organic fruits and veggies to your door. I got my first batch yesterday. I got so excited, jumping around almost lol. I don't think I've had this much fresh fruit and veggies at home at the same time ever. My fridge is full almost. So I think it will be enough just getting it every other week. Don't think I could manage to eat a whole box on my own ever week. Best thing is that my parents said they'd start ordering from there too if they're any good :) It would be great to get them over to more organic stuff.
So what else? hmm.. well I had an exam today. Not sure how it went. Could have gone either way. I just feel glad that I don't have to worry about it right now. After I finished I treated my self to the Greta Garbo exhibition. I've been wanting to go to for quite a while but just haven't around to it. This is the last week they have it so it was either today or miss it all together. I'm glad I went, I need to do more stuff like that. Be more cultural and reward myself every now and then. I feel today has been very productive. I've done pretty much every thing on my to-do-list. It's kind of fun being able to check things off the list :) It's of course important to not only put things you have to do on the list but also put a bit of You-time on it. So of cours the exhibition was on my to do list.
And here it is
So these are just a few things I came up with for my life, at least the near future. I'll probably keep adding to it though and changing things around.
Life game plan
I need to work on becoming a more whole and balanced person with a stable self image. I think if I manage that and listen to my heart and intuition for what to do how to live etc and not bother about what people might think. I would have more fullfilling life.
Things to do:
- Start exercising more. It doesn’t matter what exercise just that you’re moving. It builds both physical and mental strength and helps the self confidence. Heavier exercise at least 3 days a week and a milder form at least every day or every other day.
- Do meditation/self hypnosis or something like that every day or at least 3 times a week. It helps keep the mental clutter in shack and allows the mind to relax and be more open for ideas.
- Read more books of your own choice. Read something every day at least a poem if there’s no time for more.
- Write a journal entry at least every other day. Doesn’t need to be much just a few lines if that’s all that comes. The important thing is Keep writing! I helps to get thought and feeling out of your system and you can get a different perspective on them.
- Plan your studies and follow the plan. Do something at least 5 days a week. Doing a little from the beginning saves you from having to do it all under stress at the end.
- Schedule time for your self. It is important that you let your self do something you want to do at least 30 min every day. It doesn’t matter what it is. Weather you choose to go see a play, write on a novel or just solve cross word puzzles isn’t important, just that this is YOUR time! Don’t let anything else intrude on it.
- Learn at least one new thing ever day. If you have more time learn at least 5 new things. Doesn’t have to be brain surgery. Maybe just learn a few new words, how to use more functions on the sewing machine, how to juggle etc. Imagination is the only limit.
- Challenge your self! To overcome fear you must learn to face it. Staring it in the eye might make you see it wasn’t such a big deal after all and it will increase your self confidence. Do at least one thing every other day that is slightly scary. Start a conversation with someone, wear something daring etc. Do at least one very scary thing once a month. Make plans and set a date for when it’s supposed to happen.
- Take time to plan your week. What you’re going to eat, what you’re going to do etc. Just so you have a structure for it. If you then choose to alter the plan because of changes in circumstances then that’s ok. This is just to give you a good base.
- Set a few goals for each day and for the week. See how you’ve managed to fulfil these goals.
- Get to bed no later than 10 pm on week nights. You need you rest and will be more awake, creative, fast thinking and in balance when you are well rested.
Things to do for the environment:
Starting a group of my own that goes out and cleans up nature a bit so that all the junk that ppl carelessly throw anywhere doesn't harm animals etc. Plus it's so depressing seeing all the litter everywhere. I'll at least start doing it myself. But I think it might be more fun and more effective doing it as a group and also try to make people more aware of the problems and what they can do for the environment.
Chcking out what local groups there are
Things I need to look into:
Psycholohy: how to reach people best, so they feel inspired to do something and not put off by apathy, or get defensive because they feel attacked/accused etc.
Personal development.
