Happiness is nothing but a word.
Are you happy?
Happiness. That was what Fr. Bob's homily was about. (Since it's the third week of the Advent Season and the pink -which symbolizes joy- candle's supposed to be lit.) Yeah, I went to mass, after ages of avoiding it. Fr. Bob (the singing priest!) asked everyone to raise their hands if they're happy. A few raised their hands. Most of the people there didn't, including me. He was surprised to see a lot of "lonely" people. He said that we should be happy since it's Christmas. He even joked if it was because of the Christmas bonus, or the lack thereof. Hahah!
Well, I'm not happy for a lot of reasons. First, and the major reason our family's grieving, is the death of Nanay (my grandma, mother's side) just a week ago. The family's almost always in black or white. No red or any happy color. So tell me how do you celebrate Christmas?
Then there's my thesis. Argh. And all my INCs. Man... I've got lots of personal problems which, if we're tight, you prolly know. I may have written about 'em here one time or another. But those things, I'd rather not talk about. Maybe next time. Am too tired to type. Hehe. Just felt like writing.
