its so a Monday. My computer at works starts acting like its possessed.
I have had a headache since Friday
Asia bowed out of helping me brush the bottom and sides of the pool due to homework
Haven t seen Cadence since Friday night
and now its after midnight and I cant even sqeeze out a yawn.
tomorrow is going to suck
One funny thing to mention
When I came into my room to get on the computer just now, within minutes after feeding Syd, he starts barking. I go over and give him a snack and he is acting all jittery. I sit back down, and 2 minutes later, he starts barking again, he normally limits his barking to the middle of the night. I roll my chair back so I can see him and he is on the bottom of the cage looking at the chair next to his cage.... I had put some clothes there for tomorrow, something I don't normally do, and I guess they were freaking him out. heh
I moved them and he has not barked since.
My cat is a total mess. He loves to turn over trash cans. You would think he was a dog. The trash cans can be full of nothing but junk mail but he will still turn it over. The little round one in the living room, the one I keep under my computer desk, doesn't matter. Its got to go over.
One day I had a cardboard box in the living room. I put some junk mail in there so I could take it all to the trash outside. Spooky flips it over, dumps out all the paper then proceeds to eat the box. He will bite off a corner, spit the piece into the air and go back for more. At times he holds down the flap of the box with one paw and bites off piece. By the time he gets bored with it, there are no squared off corners and small pieces of cardboard all around the box.
I got a new assistant today. She is only temporary until the summer ends, then she goes back to Georgia Tech. That means, all she can really do is file and easy stuff. I cant really teach her anything. A lot of help that does. I guess I should be thankful for that at least.
I got a notice in the mail today said I was eligible to be part of a class action suit against the makers of the siding on my house. Wonderful. I have no idea if its legit. According the letter, the siding must be put on top of a primer, and many homes did not get the primer. So the moisture gets in and it deteriorates long before the 30 year warranty is up. The manufacturers have denied accountability to those who have complained so a suit was filed. Apparently, they will pay to replace any and all siding that shows damage. I'll look into it. I think I will ask one of my neighbors if they got a notice too.
so far, since I bought this house, I had a toilet over flow while i was gone, and it flooded part of the walk in closet floor next to the bath. Had to replace part of same toilet due to leaking. A part needs to be replaced on the other toilet, which i keep forgetting cuz i never use that bath. I have had to replace my hot water heater. Anything and every small thing went wrong trying to get the pool open for the summer, but it is finally ready.
buyers beware out there. I dont regret buying.... its just hard sometimes.
