Cab
Yous stand in the middle of the street trying your best to hail a cab. They were all occupied, unfortunately for you. You try yet again. Waving your hands in the air like a madman.
Then one cab stopped in front of you. It was occupied so you didn't raise your hopes up that you'd be coming home... the window on the backseat slid down, and you were greeted by the smiling face of a god.
"Going home??" he asked, and you didn't know what to say. You didn't know who he was, for crying out loud. You stepped back a little in fear but he just continued to smile. "I won't eat you, you know," he assured. "It's hard to get a cab in a place like this... why don't we just share??? I promise i won't do anything bad to you..."
"I--I will wait until I get a free cab... I mean an available cab, thank you."
He shook his head. "Your afraid of me. I'm Choi Siwon by the way... and it really is hard to get a cab here. Come on, let's share this one..."
You did, after a lot more talking in his part. You didn't trust a lot of people. Heck, you didn't even have a lot of friends. But there was something in that dimpled smile of his that made you want to trust him. Even just for a few hours, on that cab ride home.
Stupid
"Why are you always acting so stupid?" you asked your lover. "You're so childish..."
"Yah!" he yelled. Your blood was boiling in anger just as his was. "I wasn't the one who forgot, Choi Siwon!"
Yo0u stared at him. His face was tear streaked. And it didn't suit him. You already missed that guy who was always so bubbly. Not this one who was worried, and sad. But you made him like that. Every since you started to date him, he had been like that.
"Min-ah... I'm sorry."
"You always say that, stupid!" he responded, smacking your head with his hand. "You know I just want to be with you... that's why it's such a big deal for me..."
"I know, Min-ah. I'm sorry. I'm so stupid at time... but i love you..."
"Yah! You are stupid!"
Elf
"Yah! Get up you little elf!" Siwon yelled from the bathroom door. He was clad with only a towel around his waist. His abs and chest showing themselves to me. I drooled.
"Aish! I'm still sore and you're being a jerk, you know."
"Hmmm... you're sore? What did you do last night, you little elf?" he teased as he walked towards our bed, taking the towel off and showing me all his glory.
"Oh god."
"What? You look like you saw a giant, my little elf..."
Wait
Wait. It was the lat thing he said before he left. He asked you to wait for him. But it had been years since he left. And you had no idea if he was every coming back. He never called. He never wrote.
What could you expect?
But you were still waiting. You trusted him and his heart when he said that he'd be coming back. There was no way you'd ever doubt him. You loved him that much. And waiting was was you did.
Other guys asked you out. Damn. There was a lot of them. Too bad none of them could ever compare with the one you already loved. Although he was far. You'd wait. You promised him that. You promised yourself that.
You sat on your patio. Watching the passersby as the went on their business not noticing that someone was observing them. Then you saw a face that was so familiar to you. And at that moment, you knew. You made the right decision to wait.
