yay for some time off
So, it's been a pretty great day today, except for the fact Brian is out of town. :-(
Mom came over this morning and helped me mop and stuff like that. She was very impressed with how well Brian cleaned the house. He gets a 10.
He had to leave about 3:00, which made me sad. But, he will be back tomorrow, probably before I even get up, so it's all good.
Brian's parents came out to my parents' camper for dinner with us tonight. We had lots of fun, lots of talk about band. Dad cooked grilled shrimp, red beans and rice, and his famous gumbo. It was so great. They stayed for a couple hours, and then I stayed 'til about 9 watching tv with my mom after dad went to bed.
Went out to a party with Anna and Angela. It was great to get out after being so busy lately. I drank a little but not really enough to do much, which was absolutely fine since I had to drive home. I really am an old lady... I was more than ready to come home by 1:30.
So now here I am. Tomorrow night we're going out, so I'm really looking forward to that. As for right now, I think I'm just ready to hit the sack. (*insert 'take that, sack!' joke here*)
