I started to post, and we had the power flash out, resetting my computer. Bugger.

I am tired and sore.
Tired, because I haven't been sleeping well for sometime now, and despite using the sleeping oils last night, it was too hot to sleep well. Plus, we went to bed late and I had to be up early.
Sore, because I have been helping look after baby Maddison. I often lean her in my left arm while I'm feeding her, or when I'm carrying her, and I've been putting a lot of strain on my shoulder. I have an existing problem with it, which I have been having kinesiology to treat it. It is working marvously, but the added strain is probably not needed. Plus I worked today, which also strains it. I'll have to see Uncle David again soon for another session.

I was up early this morning because Jelva and I went to the Mornington Market. I haven't been up to the market there before, and it was really nice just to wander around looking at stuff, and not being tempted to buy anything. Jelv bought me a block of chocolate as a late christmas pressie, and bought herself a pressie. It was pretty warm, even at 9am, and the sun was biting. But it was lovely to get out of the house, and not have to engage my brain for any amount of time. No baby, no mother, no idiotic brother. Absolutely care free. I need more of that.

Had a 3 hour shift this afternoon. Went by very fast, and consisted of more brain-dead time. This is what I love about my job so much - I don't have to engage any brain power. And it's amusing watching the parents come in with their kiddies - you can see how much they wish for the school holidays to be over. Honestly, I'm begining to seriously lean towards no children. lol. I know the basics of my job, I know to call my Supervisors if I don't know something, so really, I don't have to think very much at all. I enjoy the 3 hour shifts the most at the moment, mainly because my shoulder struggles with anything longer.

In a couple more weeks I will be organised for the new semester. I need to head up to Tafe tomorrow to get some details on the units I completed there. I'm hoping to get credit for 2 of my IT units at Uni, which could mean no study for the first semester. Might have to pick up a short course down at Tafe to keep me in the habbit of studying. I may decide to work through my 2 maths units on my own during this semester. I was enrolled in them last year, but withdrew because I was struggling with 4 units. I have all the notes and access to the lectures, so I can work through them in first semester, and be prepared for second semester. I really struggled with these maths subjects, because I didn't do Maths Methods or Specialist in Year 12. But if I work hard, I should be able to make it through ok, and even get a Distinction.

For the rest of the evening I am going to do some dishes, read some more of Twilight (which I am re-reading) and have an early nights sleep. Shawn is out for the evening, so I might even get to sleep before he gets home.
