The office manager called me into her office today and informed me that today was my last day. They're really very sorry. Everybody loved me to bits, but summer is traditionally their busiest season and they've been unusually slow and they've just lost their top salesman in a dark cloud of controversy (there's going to be an investigation and everything) and there just isn't enough money to keep a temp they don't have enough work for.

I think once the shock wears off I'll be giddy with glee, but for now I'm kind of stunned.

I feel like the Stanford interview went well, but I won't know for sure for at least a week, week and a half.
