Debt...
I wish Jason and I had better examples from our parents, as far as debt goes. We were never taught smart credit use. We have been thinking hard about how much we owe lately. It is a big number, especially when you think about debts besides credit cards like two cars, a house, and each one's student loan. We are thinking of a few options including credit counseling, consolidation, or maybe just paying off them one card at a time with extra money each month. I'm not sure. I think the last is most feasible. I doubt we can get a loan and credit counseling costs extra and scares me a bit. Plus we can use any tax money we get back, IF we get any back. And I will get a bonus in June of next year. That bonus could pay off a bit of it. I hate that we have gotten to this point and it makes me feel stupid because so many of my friends are so smart when it comes to money. I get jealous when other people seem to be able to do so much more than me and Jason. Grrrr
