CALIFORNIA!
Well where do I begin? A week before spring break my family decided that we would go to NYC together. Then the night before we were about to leave, my dad booked tickets to Los Angeles instead.
We got into California last night at 7 30 (10 30 michigan time) We drove around for 3 hours in search of a hotel only to end up back at the airport hotel at midnight. During the 3 hours we drove down sunset blvd and passed UCLA, Ocean av, Rodeo Drive, and many other things that you hear about in songs. However the most excited thing was passing the Beverly Hills Police Station from Beverly Hills Cop!!!
Got up at 7 30 today because I'm still used to Michigan time. We left the hotel at noon and drove around until 2 30 when we finally found a hotel my dad was happy with. It is the Beverly Hills Hilton (where they had the Golden Globes at) It is AMAZING. My brother and I have an ajoining room with my parents. It has a HUGE plasma TV, a plasma TV in the bathroom, a Bose radio for an alarm clock and best of all.....a balcony view of the entire city and mountains and everything. I don't ever want to leave!!!
My mom and I made a hair apointment at Ken Paves salon here that he always talks about when he's in Michigan. I can't wait!
We are going shopping now FINALLY now that the hotel hunt is done. More updates later :)
Oh, and...it's 78 degrees here :)
