awake again
I should be sleeping. This is the second week in a row I haven't been able to sleep even though I'm exhausted. I just have so much on my mind lately, the biggest thing being what I'm going to do with my summer. i can't decide whether to work at kodak or at the daycare. Here are the pros and cons of each one....
Kodak...
Pros- 8.50 an hour (i'd only be employed there for 9 weeks)
I get out at 1:30 monday through thursday
I could probably put in overtime and get more money
since it's only 9 weeks I'd have the rest of the summer to do whatever I want
Cons- It starts at 6 a.m. each morning
Friday I'd be pulling a 12 hour shift 6 to 6
Boring factory work
What would I do with the rest of my summer
Little to no working lenience.. I couldn't take off one day to go somewhere
Daycare...
Pros- It would give me something to do for more of my summer
More reasonable hours (probably from 8 to 4)
More lenience if I needed to take off work
Human contact (playing with little kids)
Probably a more enjoyable environment
Cons- Probably only paying minimum wage.. does it make sense for me to work 3 more weeks only to make a couple hundred dollars more?
Takes up more of my summer (yes I know I put this as a pro but it can also be viewed as a con)
I don't know if I can take kids for 12 or 13 weeks
It would probably take more energy to do.
So yeah that is my dilemna... any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
