Coffee...and Cappuccino. With notparadigm

It was Buffy's idea. She'd met Jimmy at a jail, and had an interesting conversation about comics and superheroes. Since then, she'd genuinely enjoyed talking to him. He was insanely nice to her, despite her flubs about accidentally calling him Cas.

And he didn't even really know her. They had a person in common, and that was a Dean. It was just something about him that made Buffy want to gravitate toward and have a nice little conversation with. That didn't happen often, if at all. So when Jimmy opened up to her and talked to her about his family? Her heart had instantly warmed, and she'd made a silent vow to continue to just be with him. To just talk about inane things, simple things, normal things. Or hell, if he wanted to? Practically anything. It was comfortable, safe and warm. She couldn't explain it, and she really didn't even want to try.

It was all Buffy's idea to go for coffee, after a little bit of awkwardness. She honestly couldn't drink coffee, due to the overwhelming amount of energy that was already inside her, but cappuccino and tea were always options. It wasn't even about the coffee for her anyway. They didn't even have to get coffee. They didn't have to get anything. Walking and strolling would suffice.

She was the slayer, and going out at all without intent of killing was few and far between. She took the little graces. And also Jimmy shaped ones.

Hopping in the car next to Jimmy, she smiled, forgetting the awkwardness of the day and her ridiculous knack for sticking her foot in her mouth. "I could go for a french vanilla cappuccino, myself. I'm a sucker for extra foam."
