SSDD
I know it's been a minute but i've been really feckin busy lately. Oddly enough, I managed to find the time to chill w/Dee repeatedly and talk to her almost every day, and even got to see Yin(who i probably wont see again before he leaves...*sniffles*) and Maurice(who's already left...a little too early). Spent last weekend @ Yin's dad's house. That was so great, relieved alot of stress. It's hella cool having Eaze drive too, he could probably get me to California in 10 minutes...w/traffic...CJ knows.
The weekend before that I went back to school, they had a 'celebration' kind of thing for the future athletes. Still in the midst of all the partying, we had to train and practice for our respective sports. I got to watch sum of the veterans play lacrosse, field hockey, and swimming though, that was pretty cool. All three are really intense.
I've also been hanging with/talking to alot of RFK/SJN ppls. It's been...interesting, going back in time and seeing them again. People change alot, me included, especially recently. Some of them think for the better, others dont. Nonetheless, i'm confortable where i am now. I still had a blast with them though...I'm hoping that I can see all the people i've been in school with these plast 3-4 years before I leave too. You know who u are...*points*.
In between that, my last day of work was this past wednesday - a few of us were let go early, because it's getting back into regular rotation and they dont need the summer help anymore. My brother's been talking to me alot more lately, i guess he's worried about what could go on once i get on campus. He made me promise to keep in touch with him...forget about mom & dad. He's already plotting taking over.
Right now, i'm getting together all my stuff for college. I've been college shopping the past 3 days, all day. My mom just wont cut me a break. I've already got alot of stuff for my room. I really cant wait to go. Even though it means leaving some people behind(there will be some people i just wont talk to while i'm @ school), it wont be so bad. I'll make sure I at least get the important people once a week. The really special ones, twice =)
In other news...saw Jemima today, she's looking great. I barely recognized her without her glasses. She says she's out the 30th...from all the dates i've gotten...she's the third to last to actually be on campus. That can be a good thing, and it can also be a bad thing...depending on how we look at it.
