I would just like to share a few pics of the custom Pokemon Fennekin plush that I made, for records sake, and a sort of sales post.
This plush is made from faux fur, in red, golden yellow and white. He is handsewn, to my own pattern. His legs are jointed in a traditional Teddy Bear method, with wire inside each leg for poseability. Each eye is hand embroidered, and shaded with artist markers. His nose is polymer clay, affixed safely inside.
My idea for this plush was to make a 'real' feeling pokemon - so many plush artists make fantastic minky pokemon plushies, I wanted to try something different and move away from the cartoony feel of minky plushies. I used fur to make it pettable, and weighted him inside. With the jointed and wired legs, so many poses can be achieved, well.... for maximum FUN!
This is my own plush, but I have enough fur to make a second Fennekin, exactly the same as this one. If you feel you might be interested in adopting it, please feel free to contact me. Since this would be my first 'commission' and I already have the fur on hand, the cost for him (or her!) would be £60 plus shipping.

Depending on the plush, I will try and find the best quality faux fur I can, in hopefully the correct colours. I can make certain plushies - depending on colours available - out of mohair teddy bear fabric. Hold on- WAT? Mohair fabric is soft and very real feeling, and can be dense, wavy, short or long pile. It is of course more expensive than faux fur, but the results would be amazing. I have worked with mohair for teddy bears, and I know it produces a fantastic result.
If you have a Pokemon plush idea in mind, Or indeed any character that you think might suit this (I've started with a pokemon, so thats the only example I have. ) please feel free to comment and discuss it with me. prices start at £60, and may vary due to the complexity of the Pokemon/character chosen, and supplies used. I do require a small non-refundable deposit before I start work, mainly to buy supplies but to also let me know that you are committed. The rest of the payment will be required when the plush is completed, and you are happy!
I will ship your plush safely wrapped in a box, at cost to whereever you are in the world. I'm shipping from the UK, and insurance can be purchased.
I only wish to take on one, maybe two plushies at a time. I am happy to create a waiting list for anyone interested if I am not open, and more than likely, this will give me time to think about it, and you time to arrange funds. I am flexible! Even if you just want to make enquiries but are unsure about committing, I'm always happy to chat, and give a quote. Some characters may not suit this style either, so its always best to ask!
Don't forget, this is something I am creating from scratch, with no pattern, and its very detailed. If you need it by a certain time, do let me know!
Oh and...... I'm happy to consider partial trades too. I am particulary interested in Eevee-lution items, or pretty much, cute Pokemon things. Feel free to ask, but please don't be offended if I say no! xxx
