Corning Animal Hospital
So a year ago when I lost my job I put in applications like everywhere, and never got any calls. So yesterday I look at my answering machine and I have a message from corning animal hospital, saying they have an opening for a vet asst. Mind you, the application was put in over a year ago. I call them back, and I have an "interview" on Friday morning. What it really is is a shadowing thing to see how well I interact with the anials and other techs. They told me I have an edge up though because nobody else they're calling has experience. Also pay will be based on experience. The hours will be good. 36 or so a week. 12-6 MWF 12-7 T,TH and 8-12 on sat. I hope I get it. At least then I won't feel like I wasted 5 semesters of college.
