Day 133 / 365 - AHHHHH
Ever want to just scream? I am feeling that way right at this moment. Unfortunately it is not something I can discuss but just believe me, the reason is scream-worthy.
I qualify for a reasonably sized pell grant so I hope that works out ok. I received an email notice that it is in review. If it passes that and I am able to get the student loan I need to pay for the rest of my classes this year then I will be on the fast track to an Associate of Arts in Business baby. I am super excited. You really have no idea how excited I am. Like jumping jacks and running excited... and I don't like either.
It finally stopped raining for 5 seconds and the people flocked out to mow the lawn. It must be nice to have absolutely nothing to demand your time so you can drop everything and mow the lawn the moment the sun peeks out. I know what I will be doing on Saturday... unless it rains AGAIN and makes it impossible to do. Believe me, our lawn needs it. We were just waiting on the rain to go away and for a day when someone would have the time to get out there with the lawnmower. Instead of, you know, working or school stuff or all that other life stuff that comes up.
You are probably wondering why I want to make my life any busier. Keep wondering because I don't have an answer.
I took my free grande drink card to Biggby and got a mocha/caramel. OMG delicious. It would have cost me almost $5 if I didn't have the bday postcard (BIG OUCH) but I like the atmosphere in there. I think I will take my work laptop with me and go there when I want to get a little time away from Monkey and get some writing done. I could park myself in a corner with some coffee to sip and write for a bit. I believe coffee should be refreshed for every hour the free wifi is being used so I will probably buy a little top up or a new drink. They have some low cal options I could consider. I probably wouldn't stay longer than an hour, though. Just long enough to get some words on screen to proof later. I could probably get out 2 rough draft articles in about 1 1/2 hours, give or take.
Let me see, I thought I would have plans tomorrow but apparently that's not so. Haven't heard a damn thing so I doubt anything is gunna happen. Oh well. I do not understand this man, really.
