SEAWORLD!

Oh my gosh! We did something today! We're such homebodies and with Jason working all of the time, weekends are usually just relaxing. He's been off since Wednesday so today we took advantage of the free passes to Seaworld we got from his boss and went!

Oh.my.gosh!

Apparently its not so much aquarium as it is theme park but we had sooo much fuuun!

Seriously, we never went on vacations when I was little. Camping, which is nice, but never anywhere like Florida. Now we live not even 20 miles away from it, Disney, and Universal.

So it was a first for all three of us. As soon as we got there, Caleb had a tantrum because he just wanted to play with the payphones. Then we saw the Shamu Believe show. I told Jason not to make fun of me if I started crying. I've been super emotional and I was wrapped up in how beautiful those animals are. I didn't cry, I choked it back. I'm such a dork!

Caleb and Jason were dripping with sweat afterwards so we went to the splashpad they have. Caleb could've stayed there all day long. Some of the locals playgrounds have splashpads, so he knew just what to do!

After that we went to this show called Pets Ahoy! which was sooo stinking cute! It was incredible! They adopt a lot of the animals in the show from area shelters, including the one we got Houdini from. Yay! Caleb loved the show because he is all about dogs, cats, birds, animals in general! He sat on his dad's lap clapping and saying "YAY!"

After all of that, we were pretty beat (it had been about 3 1/2 hours) so we went ahead and came home. Caleb fell asleep within 5 minutes of us leaving! It was just so hot out (81º) and we did do a lot of walking.

We're thinking about getting annual passes after the new year. The prices are really fair and it is only a few miles up the road.

We're going to Disney on my birthday. I'm 25, live in Florida, and have never been to Cinderella's Castle. That's a lifelong dream for me!

I didn't get any awesome pictures of Shamu. There was a bad glare on my camera screen and I was afraid of getting splashed and getting my camera wet.
