writing

Dec 14, 2005 14:09

So ive been doing some writing lately, I havent really finished anything though, just started things and done outlines and this caused me to do some thinking about writing. I love it, I would love to get paid for it and frankly I think I am good enough to make it. Everyone here is a writer, everyone who has an LJ and uses it is a writer, they are expresing themselves through writing and others even read it, its kind of like being published (on a very small scale)

I am tight on money right now and I think I may write something for my family for christmass, something for each of them, maybe not my dad, ill probly just buy him something.

As I havent posted any writing for a bit and I havent finished anything in a while, i suppose ill post something unfinished, sorry, but thats what you get, ill try to finish it later, but no gaurontees.

Untitled short story

Many stories begin with a great deal of "Setting the Scene" or "Exposition"; this story is short so we don’t have time for that.

Scene: Warehouse

In the warehouse are boxes, crates, a forklift and three men; Ed, Peter, and Hal. There are also several bullets in the warehouse, most of witch are in guns and a few of witch are flying through the air. The distribution of these bullets is far from equal; most of them are being kept in Peter’s guns. Peter is fairly happy with his bullets, he is fond of using them and plans to share them with Ed and Hal very shortly by way of his twin Glock 9mm pistols whom he has named Sid and Nancy. Hal has only three bullets and figures this means he can only afford to miss once; he is a very good shot though so he thinks his chances are fairly good. Ed, does not think his chances are good at all, he is very displeased with his single bullet and even less pleased that it is lodged just under his collar bone and is causing him a great deal of pain and a bit of bleeding. Ed is also thinking that he should have ordered the eggs benedict instead of the french toast at breakfast.
