You know, it just occurred to me that if you were a Kira, you wouldn't have anything to gain by solving that riddle for us like you did. That would be a clue that a Kira would like, because the detectives would be arguing pointlessly over it at least until time to vote again.

Head's up: 'James' has shown up.

And interestingly enough, Fllay-chan voted for him!

If I don't make it through the night, I think you have a lead!

Yep. After cozying up to me, which seems weird after last night, but I might be reading into it.

Why do you think you might not make it through the night? Isn't Inomoyama at bigger risk, since he got the clue?

There's always a chance I got a reputation from last game, but you're right - if Fllay-chan is a Kira, I doubt she suspects that I suspect her.

But they don't always go for the safes - who would you rather have out, someone who could bust you, or someone who everyone already knows is safe?

I would rather throw the detectives into confusion than just timidly pick off the people everyone already knows are safe anyway - or a combination of the two!

But if Sano-kun was really a Kira, you and Yuuri-kun are both in danger of being killed, since you would have outlived your usefulness as scapegoats.

I always figured it was safer for the Kiras to go for the people known to be detectives, 'cause there's NO chance to use 'em as scapegoats any more, like you said, unless someone can swing an argument that a clue was false or something.

Mind, that doesn't mean that everyone thinks like that, and yep, I might go tonight too! Ahwell.

Mmm, I always want to get out the most dangerous opponents first, that way I don't have to worry about being outsmarted the rest of the game! But if you just go for that, even the slower players will catch on when there are no unknowns, so you have to mix it up a bit!

If Sano-kun was really a Kira, that means the remaining two have three detectives they can safely kill without fear of being discovered now, so yes, we should see them start to kill the safes now. But you can't win the game by doing that alone!

...new day up.

I'm wondering if the reason we've got a detective who won't be sending any clues (it sounds like, anyway) is that we DID get two wolves. We'd be on a fast track to winning... but if the Shepherd actually did have a heart attack, that's.

Uh.

Wow. Well. Anyway. Interestingly, privately, Akiha was speaking out to me and said that he was "even more sure that the Kira was Sano-kun" but he had to go for the day before he told me why. I figure that means he was talking to other people too, but. Don't know who, or we might know why the Kira(s?) offed him.

Look at what the replacement said, though - yesterday, Tsuzuki-sensei was 'taken into custody under suspicion of being a Kira'. And Sano-kun was only 'taken into custody'.

So do you think Akiha-sensei was silenced instead of just randomly killed? They'd have nothing to gain by killing him randomly when there are so many safes around now.

Haven't they varied the wording in other things a little too, though? And given that we know what he's suspected of, I can see why they'd say it. Just to play Devil's Advocate, though -- you might be onto something, but if it's not a real heart attack but a game of the shepherd's to give us a reason to hold back on clues for a day, I think we probably got two kiras. Especially if clues resume not today but the next 'day' (assuming we get a dud on the next vote).

Of course, we got no way to know if it's a real heart attack or not, so it's kinda moot.

I think it's possible, at least. Not sure why else, unless he had a lead on something, and his comment to me about Sano was part of that.

Look at that - the new Shepherd refused to answer whether we got one or not! We're only stabbing in the dark, so... maybe we really *did* get two?! No way!

Notice Fllay-chan's reaction, too - she wanted to know why I'd wonder if Sano-kun was a Kira. Let's watch and see what she does.

That'd be ...weird but sorta nice, heh!

Yep. Worth keeping an eye on, that.

It would be highly unlikely, but yeah, I wouldn't argue!

Just like yesterday, it's taking her a long time to respond. Want me to unlock our thread to you?

Heh!

Think if there's any wolves left, she might be talking it over with them? Or just busy, I guess, one or the other. Sure, unlock it. Can't guarantee I'll see anything you didn't, but better informed than not, I figure. Thanks.

Well, I figure you're probably talking to someone else at the moment, too - which is good. We'll only win by talking to one another. Staying scared and quiet is just what the Kira want from us because if we can't trust each other, we can't vote with confidence.

But here. Fllay-chan is definitely nervous.

Actually I'm writing a major term paper D: THIRTY PAGES WRY Not yet. I figure I'll start prodding around now that a new day's begun, though.

Thanks. I'll take a read!
