Friending Frenzy

I always mean to do one of these. Like I always mean to go through the kitchen cupboards and throw out the food containers without lids and vice-versa. And here I am, on vacation, with plenty of time on my hands.

I'm always amused when I discover that some of my LiveJournal friends have found each other. Let's crank it up a notch - leave a comment on this entry, if you care to do so, introducing yourself. Then check out the other comments and see if you find some new friends! (HINT: Two of you became first time mothers in the last five months).

And feel free to recommend your friends to me!

I'm a 45 year old Canadian, I have two cats, and I don't want a third, because that's the start of the slippery slope that leads to full on crazy cat lady.

I work as a web coordinator and I do not talk about work in public, unlocked entries like this one. :-)

I am an amateur photographer with a bad ass camera doing a 365 project, so every day I post at least one picture. To be honest, a lot of the pictures have a cat in them, because sometimes it's late evening and I haven't taken my picture of the day yet and I'm feeling uninspired, and aw, look at the cute kitty! My flickr photos.

I don't friend unknown journals with no content, or that are written in a foreign language, or that are rant rant rant. Certainly people have bad days and have issues they are passionate about and that's okay. But if your LJ is one big ole ball of negativity and you're not really doing anything about it except posting about it, I'll pass.

I do friend journals that are witty, warm, inspiring, geeky, and/or thought-provoking.

Since a picture is worth a thousand words, here's some more information about me:

star wars, work, star trek, geeeeeek, photography, dating, cats, friending frenzy
