logan doesn't remember the first time he killed.
his therapist likes to tell him that he strung his cat up by his sister's jump rope when he was twelve. right before passing out in the grass beneath it. but his mother tells him that when he was six he squeezed his cousin's gerbil so tight, it just stopped breathing.
"you passed out after that too," she says before she takes another drink.
logan does remember the first time he met jensen ackles.
he talks about his eyes, hands, and freckles for three full sessions before his therapist interrupts him. starts asking about if his mother has met the young man yet and he can only clear his throat and say,
"mom doesn't like the ackles very much."
his therapist's mouth is tight around his pipe and he murmurs something along the lines of, "who can blame her?" before clearly saying, "you should listen to your mother, she's a woman of good sense."
but his therapist knows all about his mother's tendencies to drink herself into a coma, so he's sure he's just bullshitting on her behalf.
