I HAVE
ART TO SHOW
And a hekka ton of it.
FIRST OFF
My share of comic Jams from SPX.
Which was back in September. For all my new friends-list additions, I am sorry for my delay. Lack of proper internet is to blame!
Here's a sample before I cut the journal.
And since my scanner isn't hooked up, I took pictures of all of these...hopefully they look okay :C
It first started at a Greek restaurant where I asked a question!
Maddie had started this one. I think it's one of my favorites. Almost next to the Spock in a Box.
Ohnooooooo
Why you should never skip gym.
Now that's just silly. You can't date trees.
A stupidly long journal comic I started about my weekend going to SPX. Here's a couple pages that I liked!
We got to see SCAD~<3<3<3 And I got to meet Sean!
And now for my sketches!!
I doodled on the plane. Unfortunately the guy next to me wasn't asleep and did see me drawing these (I get nervous when I know people are watching me). Fortunately he thought they were pretty cute.
Back home, now!
It's a crazy cute Orca whale! The mascot for my local bank is named Soundy.
Really?
Soundy?
Drew a slightly crappy doodle of Thorn from BONE while waiting to meet my friend for lunch. I just bought the entire volume book~<3<3
And one night I asked my mom to say the first word that came to mind so I could draw.
She said Hooka.
Also a couple busts of Wang-Lung and
a gorilla 'cause I was thinking of Maddie.
It's my mom! ...it looks blurry!
I finally got a new brush pen since losing my old one a few months ago. These were some practice doodles to get the hang of it again.
OH HOW I MISSED YOU, PENTEL POCKET BRUSH PEN.
Also boobies.
SPECIAL GUEST ART BY MY OLDEST BEST FRIEND
That's her husband with the rageface.
I'm also completely obsessed with the movie The Secret of Kells. I went fan-art crazy trying to study the style of the characters. I couldn't find any of my drawings of Aisling, but once I do I'll post them. I liked them a lot.
First! Brendan and the Abbot! Brendan's headshape is incredibly difficult to reproduce... for me at least.
And GOD I love Abbot Callach's character design! He's the most fun to draw. The Abbot, Aisling, and (I think his name is) Brother Surige (I can't spell it, and it's not listed in the casting. Which is a shame because he's my faavorite.)
The Abbot and Aiden! Aiden's animating was the most fun to watch. He's always fluid, and energetic and expressive. He probably has the greatest grin of any animated character I've seen!
My drawing does him no justice.
And then my favorite guys in the movie! I've dubbed them the Brothers of the Scriptorium. Because... well that's what they are. The notes are me figuring out what was what on the characters, so pay them no mind. The big guy on the bottom is Brother Assoua; The man next to him is, yes really, Brother Square; the four sketches on top are Brother Surige. I just loved his design.
And that's it for now! I'm so productive without internet, but have no way of getting proper critique without it. IT'S A LOSE-LOSE.
Thanks for looking, if you made it this far. HAHA.
