Some thoughts about ...PC/Videogames
Is there no game for me ???? in this PS2 world ?
I recently got a playstation2, that I bought in a package with singstar- pop hits.
I really love that game, it´s so much fun to sing along with the original songs. So far, I´m mostly wouldbe-level, lol, but got advanced and starlet as result, too.
In general,I like PC/VideoGames, but I´m not that good at playing.
When I was a kid, I had a Gameboy and NES and liked Jump´n´Run Games like Super Mario a lot. Then I stopped playing, at the age of ? 13/14 ? when I was to old for that kind of games (but still played Tetris, sometimes :-) )
After that, I got four Star Trek Games for PC : Starfleet Academy (very difficult,I stopped very soon) , DS9-The Fallen (really good,very Star Trek, but got stuck after the prisonbreak on Agilon...), Voyager Elite Force (got till level 15 of 40!!!, still play the holomatch),Away Team (pure boredom...)
I also tried Command&Conquer3 > as boring as it was difficult, but the movieparts were cool, I liked them more than the game
SplinterCell > too difficult, but good story
Spellforce > don´t like strategy games or fantasy, although it´s a good game
Alienshooter2 >crappy game, got stuck after level 4
the Sims > boring, children only, I don´t understand what´s the fun in virtual everyday stuff like sleeping, eating, going to work...
Tomb Raider-Legends > good, but doesn´t work well on my PC
Half-Life2/Ep1 > yes !!! good story, good looking, but so difficult (level 4/of 14 so far)and Ep.1 level 3 of 5,I always get killed :-(
Deus EX-Invisible Wars > yes !!! cool SCiFI-Thriller, even I just walked around a little in this world and had a snack (you can really eat something !)
Result : I like Action-Adventures/Shooters(but not too much shooting), SCiFi, but easy to play, with a little jump´n´run and a good story, that could be a movie, rating doesn´t matter
So what games could you recomment me ? Anybody ???
